Pianist/vocalist/songwriter, Angelia (an-gee-la) is new to the Crossville area. She and her husband, Dwight Bell are part-time residents in Crossville and part-time residents of Port St. Lucie, Florida since June 2005.During this time Angelia has performed many solo engagements at Druid Hills Country Club, weddings, receptions, and private dinner parties.While in Crossville, Angelia has also formed a local trio with Dean Simmons and Dick Walter called, New Rhythms II, currently in their second season at the Druid Hills Country Club. Angelia has enjoyed devoting her time and gifts to FFG First Baptist Church Praise and Worship Team. She ministered as Praise and Worship Leader at their 2006 Women’s Retreat at Fall Creek Falls. Angelia has also enjoyed ministering in song at several area churches.Angelia’s professional music career began when she 17 years old, although she began classical piano lessons at age 5. Over the years, Angelia has met and entertained many celebrities. Since 1996 Angelia has had the privilege of performing many seasons at Donald Trump’s prestigious Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida. This has been a great highlight in her musical career. This past season Angelia brought New Rhythms, (her Florida trio featuring Ari Mendes) to perform with her at the Mar-a-Lago Club on the weekends. The group was warmly received by Mr. Trump and guests and will be returning to the Mar-a-Lago this season.The girl has dreams! She never stops! She would love to sing one day at Carnegie Hall complete with orchestral arrangements of her original music. Angelia plans to complete her new and upcoming 4th recording within the next 12 months.Prior to 2005, Angelia has served as Praise and Worship Leader, private piano/vocal instructor, soloist for weddings and receptions. She has served in many churches since age 11 as pianist, vocalist, organist and choir director. During college and beyond, most of her professional work was in the Atlanta area restaurants and hotels. She opened the Stouffer Waverly Hotel in 1981 and enjoyed 6 years of entertaining there.She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education and a minor in voice from Brenau College, Gainesville, Georgia at the age of 20
