here is a sample of what you might find in the brain of chayo...I ponder: * systems: political, social, cultural, environmental, psychological, musical, linguistic, mechanical, etc. * motives: why people do what they do or think what they think. why do i do what i do and think what i think! * natural world: watching bugs and plants and critters...climbing trees, summitting mountains (within my limited capability of course), canoeing rivers, camping and hiking and climbing things I live to: * enjoy people and experience memorable moments with them. * laugh. smile. i think im addicted to euphoric and hilarious experiences. * make things, particularly out of fibers. things like hacky sacks and rugs and sweaters. * speak spanish. especially around people who might not understand it, or might understand it without my knowing. It's the mystery of it all that captures my attention. * attempt to improve the state of our human community. foster positivity and love amongst people. * make a general fool of myself and have the best time ever doing it. And simultaneously or subsequently show others that I am not a fool in the slightest.

Books:

The first book I ever read that sparked my thoughts as a child was The Little Prince. My dad read it to me and the messages within have stuck with me ever since. it was the beginning of a cycle of thought that has continued to challenge my mind and keep me searching and working toward a better world.
