I'm just me!

I am anxiously awaiting my debut as a teacher on August 19th. I figured I’m border line special ed myself, so relating to my kids will be simple enough. And for the record my monthly subscribers… I do have enough patience! People are always asking do I have what it takes. Well let’s see…I am a big kid at heart, who genuinely adores kids. I have more patience with kids than I do with adults who act like kids. And most importantly, I am a walking testimony. I pray each day that someone’s life illuminates just by my presence and I can say, “It’s not me, just the light that shines through me. So yes, I am ready for this challenge and prepared for the long haul. Advice for now… Never allow petty things get in the way of friendship: pride, attitudes, fear, envy, infatuation, boys, girls, etc. People come and go in your life for reason and may only be there for that season. Take advantage of the opportunity and not of them. Enjoy each other, learn from one another, help each other grow as individuals. Life is too short to spend it alone. And last but not least develop the ability to smile unconsciously. It is contagious…and I am definitely a carrier.
