2008 has started off very well. I have completed more tracks ever! June has been a very successful month in completing about 6 songs including collaborations. I am working on my first actual mixtape entitled "Secret Signz" to be avaliable Tuesday, August 19, 2008! Free promo stuff so some instrumentals are used.
I even decided to start writing more in my freetime and while I am at work waiting for the phone to ring. I now am currently trying to finish our first mixtape so the people locally can hear us first. Put us on the map and bring in our style of non-violent songs, like shooting people over drugs. (Nahh dagg) MUSIC IS MY DRUG! The "Mysterialistic" album will drop sometime soon. A lot of people have been anxiously wondering when will The Mystik finally let the people grab a copy (or even bootlegged copies from bootleggers!) of her new album.
After all the versions of "U Think U Know Me", The Mystik laid a smooth track featured by her sister. Early March during Spring Break, The Mystik worked on various more beats and songs/lyrics. Soon to come is a new track called "Str8 Hataz" featuring Gen N Juice. The song is just about haters hating on you, wanting to talk, but they have no sense of clue about what they are talking about?! Raised up from a good family, people want to judge you by the way you were brought up. Enough descriptions, huh? Next, she has finished to collaborations with KT & Gen N Juice. Even that is not all.
THAT WAS ALL IN 2007, though. This year The Mystik plans will produce and write more new songs, have her album to drop and accomplish more collaborations with different artists.
