Music became a part of Paul-G's life in 2001 when the church that he attended asked him to rap for their youth. The seed was planted and his mind wondered if a career was possible. He had done talent shows, skits, and dances with other groups before, but a question always lingered, was he to be a group member or a solo artist?
His answer came shortly there after when he met Nancy, who was a singer for her church and school. She became his girlfriend, and in 2003 would become his wife. Following the marriage the 2 of them gave their lives to Jesus Christ and began writing songs of appreciation to Jesus for giving them a chance to live.
As a couple they began producing and arranging music for other artist, they also traveled to NYC for appointments with Diddy's Bad Boy Records and Blackground Atlantic Records, and although the appointments didn't go as planned, in 2004 the 2 of them would team up with Stacy Johnson and The New Vision Ministry , and Beyonce's Music World Entertainment to perform at the 2004 Stellar Music Awards.
