We all got together in 2000. The lineup has changed since the formation of Three Shots. Originally, the band consisted of Andy Tatro, Alex Bishop, Mike Gearhardt, and Brady Spitz. Members have come and gone; instrumentation has changed from 4 to 5 to a 3 piece, sometimes including a saxophone or harmonica. But the core idea of the band stays in place: music that you want to listen to in a bar, in your car, or at home. It is not a music that is confined to a performance environment. Three Shots creates a music that is functional, while continuing down the road to uniqueness and musical exploration. Three Shots won the Scene Magazine High School Battle of the Bands in 2003 and has played locally since 2001. Nurtured at the Colorado Feed and Grain under the Colorado Blues Society's wing, Three Shots has played at Everyday Joe's,The Starlight, Caladofwich's, Avogadro's Number, the Aggie and a number of local company and school parties. Since formation, Three Shots has produced 2 recorded demos and are looking to start what will be a full length CD.
