From their humble beginnings as a blues cover band in Northern California, The Antja Mimes eventually went on to become one of Hollywood's biggest bands in the post-G n'R era. Forging a unique blend of blues, soul, funk and straight-ahead guitar rock, the band was voted the 1 band in the prestigious Music Connection magazine, was endorsed by Gibson guitars, and opened for such diverse acts as Living Colour, Fishbone, Guns n'Roses and Willie Dixon before headlining their own shows on the Sunset Strip.
