IN CONCERT THIS MONTH

The concert programme of the "Stadtgarten" in Cologne which offers approx. 12 concerts each month incorporates the whole spectrum of contemporary music. The initial idea was (and still is) to present a programme, which - according to qualitative as well as culturally and politically conscious criteria - represents the development of all facets of improvised music as well as composed avant-garde music and contemporary concepts of rock and pop and, thereby, to act as a motivating voice in the evolution of these kinds of music.
