..If I were to offer you a BOTTLE OF WATER or a MILLION DOLLARS, which would you choose? The million dollars? What if you were stranded in a desert and DYING OF THIRST—which would you choose then? You would choose the bottle of water! It would SAVE YOUR LIFE. Isn’t it interesting that what we are so sure is the “right choice†can become completely wrong when the circumstances are changed? Well if you would take a moment or two out of your profile-browsing-myspace-adventure to read and consider this message, you just might find that you are in a similar situation…only this time the consequences are eternal.One day, life as you know it, will end. And when you die you will stand before an INFINITE, HOLY, JUST, and RIGHTEOUS God and give an account of your ENTIRE life. We all will. Taking in to consideration that “the eyes of the LORD are in every place beholding the evil and the goodâ€, how will your life measure up to God's perfect standard? Have you ever told a lie? Stolen anything? Had a lustful thought? Used God’s name as a curse word? Dishonored your parents? Wanted something that didn’t belong to you? Hated anyone? Valued anything in life more than God? If you are honest with yourself, you know that when you stand before God on the day of judgement, you will be found GUILTY OF BREAKING HIS LAW. And He, being a good judge, MUST and WILL serve justice and the Bible makes it very clear that those who are guilty will end up in hell. Friend, it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the LIVING GOD. If this concerns you, then there’s GREAT NEWS: it CONCERNS GOD! God does not want anyone to perish! He has provided the way that we may be forgiven for our sins!“But God demonstrates His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for usâ€About 2,000 years ago, God sent His only son Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for our sins. Being fully God and fully man, Jesus Christ lived a PERFECT SINLESS LIFE, was crucified on a cross to provide the SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS, and on the third day was RAISED FROM THE DEAD as He said He would be. Friend, there is NO GREATER LOVE! A man who knew no sin, became sin for us and bore the wrath of Holy God. We did the crime of sinning against God, and He paid the fine in His life’s blood! It’s as if we’re standing before the judge in a courtroom, we have been found guilty and the death sentence has been passed. We are COMPLETELY HOPELESS. When suddenly in walks the very person we’ve sinned against to GIVE HIS LIFE FOR US! “But He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our peace was put upon Him and by His stripes we are healedâ€So now WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? You know you’ve sinned—your God-given conscience bears witness—and you know what Jesus Christ did for you. But that KNOWLEDGE ALONE DOES NOT SAVE YOU. God “resists the proud and gives grace to the humbleâ€. HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE ALMIGHTY GOD, CONFESS AND FORSAKE YOUR SINS (repent). “He is willing that none should perish, but that all should come to repentanceâ€. AND PUT YOUR TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST FOR ETERNAL LIFE.“For if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED.â€Get right with God today. Do not put if off—we are never guaranteed even our next breath. And know that salvation is not in the words of a prayer itself, but it is the POWER OF GOD which He is gracious to work in us when our prayer genuinely reflects our HUMBLED AND BELIEVING HEART. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.â€Thankyou for taking a moment to read and consider this message.
