The Frustrated Bachelors

Found Dead In Middle America

About Me

The Frustrated Bachelors are a rock 'n roll band. Whether they are blasting through an intense four-four number, picking a guitar through a gentle, melodic interlude, or staying not too far off the path of rock with arrangements built around the marriage of traditional and non-traditional instruments the Bachelors establish a rapport with the audience and keep them engaged throughout the performance. The Frustrated Bachelors came to be in the Autumn of 2005 when care members and childhood friends Dave Birk and Will Saulsbery joined with Joel Watson and Kevin Siebenaler. Though Saulsbery (Guitar and Vocals) and Birk (Guitars) had played under the banner of the Frustrated Bachelors in the past it wasn't until the addition of Watson (Bass, Vocals) and Siebenaler (Drums, Percussion, Vocals) that the band truly came to fruition and found it's true rock identity.Soon, after solidifying a set of preexisting Bachelors songs, the group set about a whirlwind songwriting spree while simultaneously expanding their range and style. The result has been a constantly evolving band that offers variety and uniqueness without spreading itself thin stylistically."Not only is this album an urgent call to live your goddamn life and not hide from it, to savor your pain like the only glass of single-malt scotch you’re ever gonna get, to mind what Townes Van Zandt says (even if he didn’t), and to consider the consequences of immortality, but it’s also a vibrant, rocking piece of aluminum."- Phil Overeem comomusic.com on "Flores Para Los Muertos"Their debut album, "Flores Para Los Muertos," is full of well-crafted, gritty rock tunes that recall the Rolling Stones, Neil Young and The Replacements."- Pete Bland of the Columbia Tribune
