chaz.h.scally formed in late 2004, shortly after guiarist/vocalist Ged, then trumpet player (now guitarist) Dengy and drummer Baker left their former band, the long standing Titan Outfits, in pursuit of something fresh. They brought in good mate Vella, former bass player of punk band The Vigilantes, had a couple of jams, and wrote some tunes, which they recorded for a four track demo, to be given away for free at their first show.Having played music together for the best part of 4 years, chaz.h.scally quickly developed into one of the tightest live acts around the scene. Their rough brand of fast hard punk combined with dirty ska saw them recieving attention from all angles, and before too long they had developed a loyal following, and were playing regular shows all around Sydney, aswell as making trips to Wollongong, Newcastle and Canberra. By mid 2005 chaz.h.scally had a set that they were happy with, so they made the trip into the studio, to record the full length album 'Attack In Progress'. It was recorded over a few weekends at Release Studio's by an old mate, Tim Walters, who had also recorded Titan Outfits' album. With Everyone happy with the results of the album it was released on November 18th, at Sydney's elite venue, The Gaelic Club. That show also saw chaz play their first international support, playing with Dutch hardcore giants Vitamin X, and continued to support them on the remaining Sydney and Brisbane leg of their 2005 Australian tour.'Attack In Progress' saw chaz receiving attention from radio stations all over the place, including spots on Triple J's punk show short.fast.loud, American station KANM, and local radio shows all over Australia.Since emerging onto the scene in November 2004, chaz.h.scally have earned themselves a reputation of being the premiere ska/core act in Sydney and one of the most note-able in the Australia, playing shows all over the country and recieving attention from radio stations, fans and bands around the world. To this day still fuckin' shit up, chaz only hope to grow bigger and better
