The New Justice Team

About Me

* We're 3/4 Sydney-based, 1/4 Penrith-based (but 100% all Penrith pride)
* June 2004 - played our first show.
* Sometime in late 2004 - we put together a 12 track demo CD, which comes in a nifty sewn case for just $3 from places like Endless Blockades distro (Brisbane), Missing Link (Melbourne), or Resist Records and Paint It Black (Sydney), or off us at a show (which will give you more scene cred).
* July 2004 - played in Port Macquarie. This was kind of shit.
* November 2004 - became one of the first bands to ever play in the thriving backwoods township of Putty.
* December 2004 - played at Belladonna in Wollongong.
* February 2005 - played some rad shows in Brisbane with Draft Dodger & Dick Nasty.
* March 2005 - played at the final Pink Palace shows in Melbourne. Luke Holmes consumated his relationship with his bass.
* April 2005 - played in Newcastle with ROFL.
* August 2005 - Newcastle again.
* Sometime around here - recorded a second batch of songs for upcoming vinyl releases.
* September 2005 - Brisbane tour with ROFL. Put 4 new songs out on a split CD with ROFL.
* Played in Katoomba for National Beer Day 05.
* November 2005 - played Territory Clampdown in Canberra. This was awesome.
* November 2005 - did Melbourne/Canberra/Sydney tour with Vitamin X (who are fucking sick) and Anarchoi.
* December 2005 - played Belladonna in Wollongong.
* April 2006 - Released 7" 'The Peasants are Revolting', available all over the place... in the shops Paint It Black (Sydney), Resist Records (Sydney) and Re-Pressed Records (Penrith), and from the following distros... Endless Blockades (Brisbane), Gata Loco (Melbourne), Their Hidden Agenda (Sydney), Disconnect Records (Tasmania), Mighty Beehive (Central Coast) and Black Sails (Sydney).
* May 2006 - Newcastle/Sydney/Brisbane tour with Bewilderbomb and The Quickening.
* August 2006 - Supported Municipal Waste in Newcastle.
* November 2006 - played Territory Clampdown 2 in Canberra.
* December 2006 - played Live and Let D-I-Y festival in Brisbane.
* January 2007 - Supported Limp Wrist for Sydney Maggotsville show.
* January 2007 - played Disconnect Festival in Newcastle.
* February 2007 - played 'Skate 4 Leukemia' charity festival in Port Macquarie.
We recorded some new songs recently. One will be turning up on the Lake Cowra Benefit compilation, some others might be turning up on a 4-way split. Plans for a new split 7" coming soon as well.
