...Alora began when Matt showed Malia some songs he'd been writing and she loved them. It has only been in the last few months that Alora have come together with the full line up. Prior to that, Malia, Mariel and Matt had played some local gigs around Northcote. Alora are going into the studio to record their debut album in mid-June...Malia and Mariel's voices blend well to create a rich harmonic texture which brings Matt's amazing songs to life, now backed up by a soulful, passionate and driving rhythm section.Keep your ears out for us!
