GeoCaching, Ebay, Texas Hold Em' Poker, music, reading (don't have enough time to do it as much as I'd like) and of course the internet. .. RPG (Role Play Game) I played Asheron's Call forever.
Enjoy Ren faires and historical re-enactments. I dress in period costume and attend Renaissance faires and fests as often as possible. I like all kinds of things. Always open to try new things too.
I'd like to meet:
Happy to meet new friends with all kinds of interests.
Also looking to say hi and reconnect with some people I knew in California, from Ventura School.
I'd also like to meet a pirate, 'cause pirates are cool. Ok, and ninjas are cool too.
Wanna make a few bucks just for reading your email?
Music:
Weezer, Murder The Stout, Anna Nalick, Gorillaz. Celtic, Blues, Zydeco, Pop, Classic Rock, Rock, Heavy Metal and even Country. My taste is varied and changes frequently.
I like all types of music. Depends on what mood I'm in that day.
Ever heard of "The Eels" - Novocaine for the Soul?
Movies:
Underworld, Layer Cake, Who is Cletis Tout? Shaun of the Dead. Eulogy.
Obscure BBC films, Sci-Fi, comedies, thrillers. Not so big into the gore/horror. Had enough in real life.
Also like a lot of the old black and whites. Of course I'd have to add in Lord of the Rings and even as a grown up Harry Potter is ok by me.
Television:
Lost, Buffy, X-Files. Once again heading in the sci-fi direction. Also enjoy reality shows, like Amazing Race, Treasure Hunters (great first season) and Survivor(although at season like what 90? now I'm a little burned out) My Name is Earl, The Office (SO FUNNY), an obscure sci-fi series: Surface.
Books:
Beach Music by Pat Conroy.
Pigs in Heaven by Barbara Kingsolver.
The Ice Queen by Alice Hoffman.
Used to read everyday, then life got hectic, now get lucky to finish 1 book a month.
Heroes:
"Most people aren't appreciated enough, and the bravest things we do in our lives are usually known only to ourselves. No one throws ticker tape on the man who chose to be faithful to his wife, on the lawyer who didn't take the drug money, or the daughter who held her tongue again and again. All this anonymous heroism."
-Peggy Noonan
