I've been playing golf since the age of 7 years old. I played tournaments that were sponsored by the A.J.G.A. (America Junior Golf Association). I played all through prep school and collegiately. I moved to California in 1989 to pursue my professional career. I eventually went through the PGA Qualifying School and gained full exemption to play on the Ben Hogan Tour which is now known as the Nationwide Tour. This is the tour that is just a level below the PGA Tour. Unfortunately back in 1990 I sustained a serious back injury that left me temporarily paralyzed and I wasn't able to swing a golf club for 7 years. During this time I was a Club Professional at various courses in Wisconsin, Illinois, Florida and California. However, with a lot of physical therapy and back operations, I'm now back playing and having the time of my life!
