About Me
before you read our bio!
We have changed our style a bit, post-ep. Its a bit more intense, less poppy. For those of you that have seen us since we finished recording, you know what we mean. we have new music, we'll still play our songs off of our ep at shows, just not all the time. we're writing for a new record and we hope to record by this summer. we'll try and keep some of the poppy feeling from our ep, but just know itll be a bit more intense, a bit more personal. we hope you enjoy our music on myspace but just know that our live set will be a bit different.
“ An amazing sight live, their fair and polite appearance vanishes and the true ruthless warriors they are emerge; brutally beautiful. “ Christian Post-Hardcore Zaragoza, from Dinuba, California, is making an immense impact, and left the guy who takes names in the pews next to them. Five dashing, young men out of a nowhere town where death metal IS the definition of music, are out and putting somethin’ harmonious in today’s scene. Bringing preps and jocks rushing the stage and metal heads in the pit right behind them, they keep all of their fans happy with flittering vocals followed flawlessly by brutal breakdowns. Anthony Polanco, Justin Simmons, Mike McGlaughlin, Andy Benavides, and Mitch McGlaughlin are the company.
So much music in their veins they cook, sleep and bathe in a power stance. They mercilessly establish powerful local connections and play a great live show. These young energetic guys focus a lot of attention of on live performance, and can you blame ‘em? After searching thoroughly for producers and studios, their decision to record their EP with friend Deathbed Productions, was for many personal reasons. They began recording their 6-song EP entitled “To the Person Sitting in Darknessâ€, after the book by Mark Twain, and of course the double-connotation to their beliefs as Christians; on November 24th; however, after completion they felt a different calling for the album. They called it “Share the Wealthâ€, let it go unpackaged and marker-labeled to the public. The price for their immaculate product? You decide. They take any price offering in return for the cd. These guys love their fans.
5 young guys with a thirst for as much music as possible is a dangerous thing. No stage too big nor small, these guys got their first taste of performance at the Return Festival 2007, where they played on a $16,000 stage alongside a few local bands and Arizona’s Ever Stays Red. Their passion lies in live performance. They yearn to tour, and at the extraordinary speed in which they’re covering ground in the music world, they may very well be able to, in half the time it takes most bands to even think about doing so.
“When I saw Anthony’s hand reaching out to the awestruck crowd, I got those goose bumps; I knew at that moment that these dudes were the real deal.†–Daniel Robinson. These kids definitely have a very bright future ahead of them, and you wont fail to notice their hurricane of momentum; I guarantee it.
