At the age of 8 I sang in a musical in my local church. An old man came to my parents and told them they had to do something with the gift I had received. My parents sent me to the Continental Kids, which is a kind of choir. Till the age of 12 I sang and danced with them. Since my 13th year I've toured three times with the Young Continentals through Europe. At the age of 15 I started to sing and perform in a gospel-rock band called HP ( www.hpmusic.nl). I'm still singing (and playing synth/piano) with this band. Besides the singing part, I had piano lessons. My love for jazz-influenced music has grown and grown. In the summer of 2007 I started to play (and sing) standards and pop/jazz music, at weddings, in restaurants, livingrooms and cafébars.
