About Me

Let's be brief now, I'm not extremely good at anything. I don't have "talents", or special powers, I can't blow things up with my mind... however, I like who I am, at this rare moment. I like who I'm with (more than I've ever been). I like what I have (even if it's not a lot). I like long drives (especially if I'm the one driving). I like rainy days (and Vancouver is good for that). I like the feeling of falling asleep after an alarm clock has gone off for the 11th time. I like the feeling of clean (but doesn't everyone?). I like finding money in your pocket when you haven't worn that jacket in a year (it's like winning the lottery, except you've always had the money). I like the fact we live in a place where there's no famine, or war, or tragedy beyond repair. Where most of your life you have free education, and the right to choose (choose what you want.. choose to get your free education.) It's just too bad that some people we live around don't like these things. Crazy isn't it? /

My Interests

Many, most of which I've never done, but always wanted to. For example: I've always had an interest in photography, but never took a class, or even learned how to use a manual camera. One day I'd love to. I enjoy taking pictures.. why not make something outta it. Another one is travel. I love it, the places I've been are few and far between, but I'd love to travel more. Just pick up and leave so-to-speak... very ishmal! OH, and cherry blossom trees :)

this ones a tad easier than music for me. Fight Club//American Beauty//Empire Records//Anything Charlie Kaufman has written//Last Night//Anything Quentin Tarintino has directed//High Fidelity (or anything John Cusak has been in)//Breakfast at Tiffanys//Good Will Hunting (take out Ben Affleck and you got yourself a pretty decent movie there)//Dead Poets Society//Wizard of Oz//Home Alone (but who doesn't like a good Culkin kid movie???)

Television:

I don't watch much. And when I do it's usually on one of my DVDs that I own. So to make my list a little more than 1 or 2. I'll mention my favorites of all time. Since I was old enough to watch TV I guess.Party of Five//Dawsons Creek (keep in mind, this was when I was younger)//Family Guy//Buffy the Vampire Slayer//Queer as folk//The Brendan Leonard Show//The Muppett Show. That about covers it.

Books:

Now this is very easy. I read lots. My favorite author however is non other that Mr. CHUCK PALAHNIUK! He is my reading god. I also enjoy Neil Gaiman novels (and the occasional graphic novel). Nick Hornby, and Douglas Coupland as well.
