About Me

The technicolor tampon says I am a. . .
Concerned ArtistRandom stuff: I'm a cat lover. One of my favorite past-time pleasures is to curl up with my black tortie cat under the covers. I do get out periodically though, when not sleeping or working. I love the directness of a good one-on-one chat. Though, sometimes I miss BBSer GTs (ha, "what is 'BBS'?"), and getting to go on random vacations. I LOVE travel. Been to Russia 3 times (once a whole summer), and want do it again. Wouldn't mind the odd trip to, say, Madagascar if I had the time and money. I have an innate curiosity for design in nature and environment, namely in urban planning and architecture. On vacation, I am usually suspect to photographing buildings in foreign countries. Make that a CRAZY amount of photographs. I'm anisometropic, which always makes a joy out of focusing. I love geeking out just as much as going out dancing. I can sit in front of Revit or Autocad nonstop for far too many hours if my job happens to get me in the groove off the clock. Currently, I'm creating ceramics designs, amongst other things. One of these days, I'd love to take a pottery class. I'm so enticed by juxtapositions of science and mystery, meditation and surrendering to form, just as with infrared photography. I am a double Scorpio (Sun & Ascendant!) with a moon in Taurus. I can be intense and stubborn, but positively loyal and hardworking once I dedicate myself to something. . . . TImes are tough now with the onset of the recession, but hey, at least it's Spring! I love Spring in Chicago. :) Next up: Taxes soon, a new gig hopefully in the near future, and Leonard Cohen eventually (June 3rd, Hamilton, Canada, but awesome nonetheless! He's My Man). What Neubauten instrument are you?

I really don't have the time, money, or will to proactively watch TV.
