KC Smooth aka D.Delfino Rangel , Born 1969 in "Kansas City" son of Richard & Sarah Rangel .Graduate of JC Harmon H.S. student of Hiland & Kansas city comm. colleges, major: Business and management. As a youth he grew up in Rosedale projects and got 2 educations "street & school", lettered in all sports 'KC Smooth', "sports keep me out of trouble and a lot of other sh-- " Fighting in the hood was a mandatory course ! 'KC Smooth', you was able to go toe 2 toe back then but ," NO MO ". KC Smooth the youngest of 5 siblings and now the father of 5 children 18,17,10,8,and 4yrs. old." KC Smooth got started with his own dj company " Thoroughbred Productions" when he was a freshman in h.s. ,"but started rapping in his freshman yr. and in college started doing demos and shopping his demo package to labels, got the attention from a label in L.A. "but with little knowlege of the industry, the label saw the advantage and took it ! KC Smooth's idea and concept was ripped off by " " label and they released it under their label. "KC Smooth",says, "NEVER send demos without any copyright protection!!!! Even if you have to do the "po mans copyright". KC Smooth learned a lesson and researched that he can do what the labels are doing himself . So he started "Rangel Entertainment" and started releasing his own product, his first:"Dont let the smooth taste fool ya" premier song "mexican player" got much love, there is a MP chapter in Omaha, KC Smooth, says "when the peeps in Omaha called and told me they named their clicka after my song I was overwhelmed that a song can move a group of listeners to the way I feel !! Also KC Smooth was in Lowrider magazine june 1998 issue and october 2000 and he had a couple of tracks on the Murder Dogg website.Then was executive producer on his daughter "SALEENA" first album also he exec. produced the first two albums of "The Sounds of Glory", acapella gospel. Now his next project he is working with his son 17yr. producer "DJ FINO" , " I wish he was old enough when i was doing my tracks because his tracks r crazy ridiculous !! I just might get back in the studio and do a father,son & daughter thang, says, "kC Smooth". In the mean time KC Smooth is focused on getting the right connections for his son and introducing him to the WORLD !!!!
