Must not sleep...must warn others...

About Me

Only 5' 4" but filled with wisecracks. Be warned. If I make fun of you, don't worry...it probably means I like you. Or it means I just want to make fun of you. I can also be very goofy and self-effacing. For 8 hours a day I scan and retouch photos mainly. I'm very proficient in Photoshop. For hobbies, I make my own circuitbent musical instruments, and make my own music using what I make, along with a program called Nanoloop for the Gameboy, and other "conventional" electronic musical instruments. I like to sew. I own two motorcycles, and I work on them myself. I used to do photography professionally, but now I do it for art's sake. I like military style clothes and the apocalypse. I listen to a lot of dub. I don't eat animals. I like to use outdated words like "gosh," "gee," "golly," "shucks," "swell," etc. I'm tough...not in the "Hey, I'm gonna beat you up" kind of way, but in the "I get all sorts of shit thrown at me and I still make it through okay" kind of way.

You will have to excuse the poor quality of the photos. I have two digital cameras, and neither one of them is good, and it's pretty impossible to get focused closeups (no zoom). I really need to get ...

new musical side project

I've been asked many times to collaborate on music with people, and almost always I turn down the offer. It's not because I'm some kind of musician snob or anything, I just have a pretty experimental ...

dorking, aka more new gear: x0xb0x, the DIY TB-303

I think I forgot to mention this due to all the chaos and stress in my life at the moment, but last week my x0xb0x kit arrived in the mail. I was on the waiting list for it for about 3 months or so, a...

1071 Audio SW-037 Squarewave Synth

So, the SW-037 is just a heavily, HEAVILY modified Amerikit/Elenco AK900 keyboard kit that I just finished a week or so ago. It's not circuitbent; instead I have added controls in the form of potentio...

Spring Cleaning

I've decided to weed out my friends list. If I've cut you, it's because we don't talk and/or I don't know you in real life (or other places online). Nothing personal, sorry.
