About Me

SUPPORT FAIR TRADE!!! Well, I'd love to be a Disney Princess (any of the Princesses will do), or be kicking my heels up as a dancer/singer on Broadway. Since I haven't gotten there yet, for the meantime, I'm married to the most wonderful man in the world, Ken, and we live in Pasadena, California. Ken and I are the Youth Group leaders for our church, and I also sing in the worship band. I'm a girly girl. I love pink, anything sparkly, and anything Ann Taylor. Other than that, I love to laugh, hate to cry and I have some pretty awesome friends. I am enjoying life completely.

My Interests

I guess I can't say it enough, but I love anything having to do with dancing and Broadway. I'd love to wisk away and go live in New York. I love to organize (what a geek!) and I love spending time with my husband. I'm also a very die-hard classical music fan. As of late, my biggest interest is Fair Trade! I'm a committee member for Fair Trade LA, and am trying to spread the word about Fair Trade. So hey everyone...BUY FAIR TRADE! Get up and make a difference in this world!

Music:

When I'm not listening to U2, I'll be listening to some form of a Broadway musical, or any other music that I can sing loudly to. Other favorites include Gustav Mahler, Samuel Barber, Debussy, Astor Piazzola, the Kronos Quartet, Tchaikovsky and anything conducted by Esa Pekka Salonen or Leonard Slatkin. More favorites include Matisyahu, Aimee Mann, Travis, Madeline Peyroux, Sinatra, Arcade Fire, Linda Eder, Teitur, Jessica Simpson (although I have a hard time admitting it) , Nickel Creek and the ever-cool G-Love & Special Sauce.

Movies:

Dream for an Insomniac, Everyone Says I Love You, Singin in the Rain, ANY movie with Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire or Frank Sinatra, Starsky and Hutch, Zoolander, Bottle Rocket, Shanghai Knights, Napolean Dynamite, Moulin Rouge, Chicago and absolutely any musical (I could watch Seven Brides for Seven Brothers daily for the rest of my life!).

Television:

2 words...Arrested Development.Michael: Not everything is strippers and booze and buckets of blood. Why do you guys have buckets of blood? Gob: It's not real blood. It's, um, corn syrup and red dye. Juice. Buster: We have unlimited juice? (laughs) This party is going to be off the hook.

Books:

Ha...I don't really read much, as I don't really have much free time. However, if I were to read anything, it would be Steinbeck...over and over and over again.
