. . The “Sportsman Alley” venue was created for the NHRA Sony Xplod Series to really focus on upcoming racers and new sponsors to better understand the many aspects of sport compact drag racing. These are ideas that come together with racers and organizations with great character and professionalism that have the same goals and passions, in which great results are a guaranteed outcome. This is the Debut of the “Sportsman Alley”, we can only expect the best.Drag racing on a personal level would be great to share our knowledge and accomplishments to those who know little about it, and to provide them with exciting interactive, up-front, hands .. race action!Hopefully we can use the Sportsman Alley to showcase some of today’s greatest up and coming talents as far as drivers, and race teams go. Also we endeavor to exhibit our sport in a fashion that has never been seen before. New faces at dragways are the only way to create the next generation of drag racers, and Sportsman Alley is our attempt to foster growth in our sport.People that have never experienced “Sport Compact” Drag racing will be exposed to grassroots level racing, with teams that have proven their mettle by persevering, without major corporate backing, showing everyone that sometimes willpower and determination can overcome any obstacle.As Urban Racer has brought the sport of Drag Racing to the masses via the internet, Sportsman Alley intends to do the very same with face to face contact. Being able to meet drivers, get autographs, and see the teams in action has always been one of the many attractions of drag racing, as drag racing is one of the only sports that allows you to get almost right into the center of the action.
