Stellaria Fennica

-STELLARIA FENNICA-
Stellaria Fennica is a project of Nephelia, based in Stockholm, Sweden. The project was born in the middles of 2004, however; it showed the experimental start up with the debut track "The Tale Of Thirteen Forlorn Leaves". The conception of this track could be described as an autumnal, sorrowful piano partitions and additional slow-atmospheric/ambient strings.
Soon after the first track had been published, Nephelia gave an obvious acceleration to musical work for Stellaria Fennica and it was inevitable to continue composing and to complete the second song "Tahtimön Talviuni". According to the dark-gloomy autumnal composition, this track was carrying a deep impression of wintry soundscapes and an effect of devastating end of nature with a sweet sorrow.
Two tracks from the upcoming album "Serene Illusion Grisaille" can be listened and downloaded here on myspace. The song "Within Grief Of Time" will also be included in the upcoming compilation CD through Thonar Records which presents different artists who signed with the label. The other track entitled "Secluded" is perhaps the most different song in the album, as it is carrying new darker themes and sorrowful moods, it also contains vocal performance by Nephelia as her first attempt to use vocals in her music.
Stellaria Fennica is currently working with new songs aswell as unfolding old material for the upcoming debutalbum which will be released in 2007 through Thonar Records.
