Hey, thanks for my stopping by my MySpace page. I hope you enjoy your visit. The purpose of this page is to help me network and meet like minded individuals. Feel free to send me a message or add me to your friends list if you have similar interests and goals.
Alright, so let's cut to the chase.
Who Am I?
Around the age of 14 I developed an interest for computers and really liked the idea that I could surf the web to find anything I wanted.
Shortly after discovering the marvels of the web, I remember my dad made a web page (and I didn’t think it was that good). :-) I figured I should try my hand at it and see how I could compare. A couple hours later, my younger brother and I yell downstairs for my dad to come check out my first web page. Looking back from the present, that page was really crappy. However, for the two of us it was a work of art.
This seemingly insignificant event lead my life towards an unexpected path. I was soon asked my by one of my dad’s friends to help him build a web site for his custom ATV parts company. Being a 14 year old without an allowance, I gladly accepted the offer. From there, I added clients over the years and met amazing people I never would have met working for minimum wage at some fast food restaurant. Throughout High School I thought I had it real good since I was self-employed. My view was soon to change though.
After I graduated in 2004, I finally started to read a book my dad had kept telling me to read. It was called “Rich Dad, Poor Dad†by Robert Kiyosaki. In it I found out some very disheartening news. I was working hard and not smart! I was trading time for money while true business owners could actually step away from their businesses and still make money while they sleep or vacation. What a wakeup call!
It was at that point I decided I’d learn everything I could about building a business that could grow beyond my ability to work 24/7. I was then exposed to multilevel marketing. I said to myself, “I'm going to make so much money! I'm such a hard worker and I know I'm smart. There's no way I'm going to fail.†Little did I know that the tactics they taught me were worthless. I soon found out prospects always seemed too busy to meet or simply were not interested. Even worse, the mere mentioning of the company's name nearly always brought about negativity and questioning of my sanity. I quickly realized that if I kept going down this route I would soon alienate a lot of people.
I Quickly Realized I Needed to Do Something Different
I decided I needed to learn how to market online. I bought and read books about search engine optimization, keyword research, article marketing, Pay-Per-Click, Web 2.0 and social marketing, copy writing, link building, lead generation, market research, and anything else I could get my hands on about making money through the Internet and with leverage so I could become financially free.
Out of all those topics I spent countless hours learning about, a combination of traditional marketing tactics and the social marketing revolution of web 2.0 struck me as being as being the most likely candidates for helping me get where I want to go financially.
If you would like to skip all the long hours I spent learning tactics on my own I invite you to visit www.HowToAttractLeads.com where you can go through a free boot camp where you will learn how to quit wasting time and money with cold calls and how to effectively market yourself.
