About Me

I like to smile. I love my friends! I generally run 10 minutes late no matter what I'm doing, but I have gotten a lot better about that! I'm working towards my Master's degree in School Counseling. In the mean time, I have a job that I love! I facilitate parenting support groups and teach parenting classes to incarcerated fathers. I live w/ one of my best friends, Gina, and we love hanging out on our balcony and occasionally spying on our neighbors at night. I've been trying to cultivate my cooking skills, artistic talents, and running abilities lately. I love Sheetz gas stations, Tide w/ Febreze laundry detergent, dresses, high heels, vacations, Captain Morgan, power naps, long drives, Mexican food, Mexicans, and Diet Coke. I hate olives, people who act like they are better than others, and putting sheets on my bed.

My Interests

knitting, making chocolate covered strawberries, local music, having lunch with friends "sex and the city" style, my dog jacks, facilitating parents anonymous groups, limes in my drinks, education, a nice bottle of syrah, power walking, and anticipating the birth of my niece!

Music:

i love rusted root, third eye blind, john legend, maria mena, and rascal flatts. we have a lot of great musicians locally as well! hooked on tonics is my favorite. basically, they rock.

Movies:

moulin rouge, walk the line, zoolander, legally blonde, basketball diaries, and romeo & juliet.

Television:

big love, desperate housewives, law and order svu, a lot of the shows on vh1 and bravo, history channel, discovery channel.

Books:

the bible and almost any psychology/counseling book
