Once upon a time, there was a distant island which lay off the coast of Europe. This island was called England. It was a beautiful island of green fields and rivers, of quaint villages and big cities, and peopled with a population of eccentric people. In one of those cities, Coventry, lived a very tall girl, her fiancé Peter who was a photographer, and their dog, Prudence. They lived happily in a nice house not too far away from the girls mum and her dog, bailey! The girl was called Louise, and she was one of those typically eccentric types. She had a love of vintage clothes and a yearning to have lived in the 1950s. She loved burlesque and vintage pin up and loved nothing more than to model for her photographer fiancé. During the day she worked in a sensible office job, but out of work she loved to cram as much as possible into her time. She loved to read, and sew and go to parties and dance the night away. She loved to learn new things and travel to distant shores. She was an avid photographer herself… when time allowed and always found interest in new hobbies. She also loved raising money for needy causes and reading all about climate change. One day she happened upon a website called myspace and joined to stay in touch with old friends and to make lots of new friends who were interested in the same things as her, to share her photographs and her thoughts and generally have fun! Here it is… enjoy!Dramatic Chipmunk CAUGHT!

MySpace GraphicsMy interests are really quite varied… I hold qualifications in photography, curtain making and a degree in Law and social policy. I have studied aromatherapy and counselling and am currently undertaking a course in interior design. I love anything artistic and although I have tried painting I have a long long way to go with it before any of my work is of a good standard. I love reading, bookcrossing is my latest passion (www.bookcrossing.com), my favourites are biographies or books about climate change. I’m passionate about climate change and sustainability. I make clothes (sewing) and make beaded jewellery. I like horse racing and motorsport and love shooting (although I don’t really get the option to do much of that). I love going to the burlesque shows. I like travelling both within England and internationally… I particularly love to see the architecture of cathedrals. I enjoy karaoke and want to take singing lessons, I’d love to be able to sing jazz. As well as taking photographs I enjoy modelling for them too and in my youth used to model wedding dresses for wedding fayres. I sometimes write poetry and have had my work published before, I find it really easy to express myself through writing, I love it. I also love animals… particularly dogs and hamsters. I love all fashion, both vintage and current and adore going to the theatre and going to concerts, most recently I saw Justin Timberlake in concert and Ian McKellan in King Lear at the RSC. I enjoy going to parties… and love hosting parties.I'm currently studying for a masters degree in Property Management and Development.

I'd like to meet:

Myspace CommentsI'd like to watch the stars with Patrick Moore, have Dita Von Teese teach me how to dance like a burlesque star, go shopping with Tara Palmer Tompkinson, go for a few drinks with Leslie Phillips (well hello) and talk about the development of British fashion with Vivienne Westwood.... sounds like a perfect day!!!!

Music:

Where do I start? 70s music is cool. Blondie, Goldfrapp, Justin Timberlake, classical, trance, Christina Aguilera, Roxy Music, Guns N Roses.... I did warn you I would be eclectic.
