People involved in the horticultural industry, anywhere, especially in (but not limited to) southern California. The 'Networking' section of MySpace is so focused that it is pretty useless for those of us not in a branch of the arts & entertainment industry.
A variety of tastes, depending on my mood, the setting, and the company I am keeping. Ambient, electronic, industrial, gothic, avant-garde, experimental, rock, punk, folk, acoustic, alt country, R&B, jazz, world music, world fusion, disco, italo, and eastern & western classical music are all genres that I regularly enjoy. Some of the artists that are most influential to my world are Carter Tutti, Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV, Erasure, Cat Power, Ani DiFranco, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Annie Lennox, Nina Hagen, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Siouxsie, and my friend Carrie Biell, to name a few. Some of my friends and I use iLike to learn more about each others' music tastes, get tracks from emerging artists, and see which upcoming shows we might enjoy seeing together.
I do not watch a lot of mainstream Hollywood movies anymore. Once in a while, as in when stuck on some god-awful long haul flight or if something unusual is released. I am mostly exploring the 'Other' category of cinema these days. A few of my friends and I use Flixster to see which movies we might be interested in watching with each other.

Bollywood is perhaps my favorite film industry, essentially for the aesthetics; a film industry of beautiful people and a technicolor universe to back it all up. For a real fun ride, check out Bollywood films from the 70s and 80s. Zeenat Aman is one of my favorite actresses.

She truly revolutionized the role of women for Indian cinema by taking bold and sophisticated roles that other actresses wouldn't have dreamed of. Even though I haven't watched all of Zeenie's films yet, I think her performance as the happy hooker in 'Manoranjan' is remarkable, particularly for Indian cinema of the mid 70s.
