Talking comes by nature, silence by wisdom.

About Me

I really hate talking "about me" because anyone that reads this probably already knows "about me." I could go on and say the usual things such as I like all kinds of art, music, and dance. I love food, caffeine, and sugar. I love the live music scene, drama, opera, and of course musical theater. OR I could also do the whole self-description thingy... I am easy going, and laid back, I am quick-witted, and have somewhat of a dry sense of humor. I am facetious by nature, but I also have a serious side. I love people, and welcome every opportunity to make new friends.BUT I wont do the lame bio thingy. Instead, I will talk about things that most people dont know about me. Lets see Ah yes, I collect rocks and minerals (my apologies to those who helped me move) I am in the process of writing two novels, a screenplay, possibly a musical, a symphony, and an essay on the mathematical operations used by Rameau on harmonic ratios and proportions. I like country music. REAL country music. I hate bad drivers, and the fact that I am one myself. I hate cell phones, and the fact that I'm married to mine... I hate tomatos. I love fashion, and yet have no sense of it myself (yeah, Im the guy that wears brown shoes with a black belt) At least I learn when corrected. I love psychology, and studies of the brain. I own a cactus. It died. Two actually. They still look alive though... I sometimes play chess with myself when I am bored. Sometimes I win. I suck at cards. I like to build things. I am a meat and potatoes kind of a guy, without the potatoes. I love logic puzzles and riddles (good ones, not why did the chicken cross the road?) I play classical piano, as well as keyboards in a rock band (don't tell anyone, but Id rather go to the opera...) I cant sing to save my life, but I do it anyway. I love obscure things.I especially dislike any unnecessary drama. I am a workaholic, and rarely have time for the things I love, but I always have time for my friends. Einstein once said, the monotony and solitude of a quiet life stimulates the creative mind. I would like to think that this is true, but my creative mind is continually stimulated, and yet, my life is anything but monotonous, or solitary. I would love to see what I could accomplish if I had the time to do nothing. Hmm, did that make any sense? I find the humor in the fact I said I dont like to talk about me and yet, I have this HUGE column.
