Crimeface... The Commish

At the age of fourteen when young Crimeface heard "Straight Ballin" by Tupac Shakur, he immediately knew his destiny. His love for lyrics, music and rap has since flourished into much more than even he imagined. This 28 year old was born in Fort Myers and raised in St. Pete but he has enough talent to rep the whole state of Florida. In late 2006, he met crew members Sonnie Boi and Alyas Brown and they formed the ultimate collaboration known as the Black Cartel. These are his words: "I feel like we really got what it takes to make this happen. Make it do what it do and be who we is and eventually branch off into acting and opening doors for other hungry artists. I'm into networkin and makin money, anything else is uncivilized! I don't wanna limit myself to just rap or music...I want to be the next big thang in entertainment overall. I'm REAL, been through it and still goin through it, just tryin to keep my head above water, ya feel me?"

Sunnie Boi... The Capo

The west Texas born Sunnie Boi was raised in Colorado and moved to Fort Myers in 2006 but he believes that it ain't where you from, it's where you're at! The Capo found his love for bass instrumentals and rap at the age of eleven and among his favorites are DJ Magic Mike and Nemesis. After the release of "For the Love of Money" by Bone Thugs N Harmony, this go-getta knew what he was born to be. His rap influences are T.I., Chamillionaire and Biggie. Here are some words from his perspective: "My short term goal is first and foremost, gettin respect and recognition locally for the Black Cartel. Long term, I want skyscrapers...God first in my life but otherwise, it's bout MONEY. I'm lookin forward to to flyin solo after the Black Cartel got it on lock. I ain't come this far to be stopped and that's all I got to say."

Alyas Brown... The Consigliere

Alyas Brown was also born in Denver, Colorado and (lucky for us) moved to Fort Myers in early 2007. As a kid, his Aunt Icey would coordinate talent shows that Alyas was in since the tender age of 5 and 6 years old. He remembers his favorite track being "Jump, Jump" by Kriss Kross and his favorites now include T.I., Chamillionaire, Lil' Wayne, Rich Boy and MUCH respect for Snoop. Here's a look into his mind: "All of us are independent but doing big things together in Black Cartel...it's a movement. I'm lookin forward to doing all the group and solo albums and the good thing about us is we all have different perspectives that blend. I have my own perspective to give to the world starting here and expanding to clothing and acting...sky's the limit for me. I live, sleep and eat rap music so I'm definately gonna give you what you been waitin for."
Influences: Tupac Shakur, DJ Magic Mike, Nemesis, Bone Thugs N Harmony, T.I., Chamillionaire, Biggie, Kriss Kross, Lil' Wayne, Rich Boy and MUCH respect for Snoop.
