Tom McCormack, Electro & House (Funky, Tech & Vocal) DJ aspires to dance music greatness. The Salford DJ/Producer is following in the footsteps of his heroes in playing sets while writing his own stuff, in the hope of spreading the love & passion he has for dance music. A general music fan as well, Tom's into a little bit of everything; it's not unusual to hear anything from Kanye West to Green Day or Fall Out Boy bursting from his stereo.

Having Started DJing some ten years ago Tom learnt his skills on the decks, manipulating Vinyl & doing things the "old fashioned" way. He quickly moved on to CD's as times changed, a progressive type of DJ he embraces technology. These days you're more likely to find Tom behind a laptop in the DJ booth than the decks. "I used to carry a laptop for something to do in the hotel after a set, now it's all I need for the whole trip & with WiFi access everywhere now the possibilities are endless." This forward thinking sees Tom for the first time in his long DJ stint reaching new audiences.

Having started very slowly on the scene most recently things have picked up for Tom, with some touting him as "Salford's Number One Up & Coming DJ," something he himslef is quick to refute, whilst still graciously excepting the compliment. "It's always nice to hear good things said about you, but there's a lot of talent out there."

Heading to Germany in September '07 & Spain in November '07 a busy year of being here, there & everywhere with a view to increasing his DJ presence is ahead, "I revel in being so busy, it just shows how far I've come!". In keeping with the ethic of increasing his profile Tom's monthly blog found here will keep you intouch with what he's doing, whilst regular mixes will be uploaded for those of you that aren't lucky enough to get to the gigs.

With many irons in the fires 2007 is set to end at a blsitering pace with challenges which will likely continue into 2008. The major parts of these are purely in the development stages at the moment & it wouldn't be purtinent to let anything loose just yet, but don't go to far as you'll always hear what's going on via this page first.
