Evongale
A fireworks explosion of aural stimuli is about to bring ecstasy to your ears. The pop-friendly jazz- and soul-infused rock and roll of Evongale is a sumptuous musical feast. Bryan Boliver (lead vocals, bass), Alex Petrosky (drums, vocals) and Steve Roman (guitar, vocals) are the members of this trio of guides along paths of music energy.
Driving Force
One's spirituality need not have anything to do with religion. It's about what moves you, what makes you ready and willing to wake up each day. For the members of Evongale, the spirit is music. "Music is the driving force in our lives," says Boliver. The globe is empty of any other things that sends the spark of life through the minds and hearts of Evongale. And these musicians pay it forward by handing off the spark, like a ceremonial torch, to the listener. It's a fire conveyed by music. "It makes us feel like nothing can. With such expressiveness and emotional output, we feel as though the music stands alone and we are lucky enough to be the ones bringing it to life."
Every Corner
It isn't always the lofty heights holding the secrets of inspiration. Sometimes the key to a great new song is close by. In fact, more often than not, the catalyst for songwriting is just a whisper away. That's the philosophy that fuels Evongale's creative process and the secret to why listeners can find so much that is real and relevant in the band's songs. "Inspiration is hiding behind every corner," says Boliver. "It's knowing how and what to channel that makes the difference between good quality and second generation copies of music." That insight is the true talent behind good music and it's a vision that comes naturally to Evongale.
The Artist at Work
Evongale has shared the stage with Lisa Loeb, The Knack and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and the band's musicians have found themselves performing in such venues as Hard Rock Live, The Social and The Back Booth – all major Orlando music spots. Connections Magazine, The Orlando Weekly, Brevard Live Magazine and The Florida Today have all featured the band within their pages. Evongale is promoting its latest release, "Mute Choirs and Ghost Notes" to build up momentum for a future tour. The band is currently working with A&R Select, the hottest indie A&R firm in Hollywood, CA.
