Shelina is currently recording her CD called "No Te Aguanto Una Mas" which she is co-producing with producer Pete Masitti (Producer for Julio Iglesias Jr. and Hootie and the Blowfish). This much anticipated album will be released 2007. This masterful production includes the new single "Como Puedo”, written by acclaimed South Florida songwriter Jessica Alvarez. The single was released in the U.S. in mid September and has been climbing the U.S. record pool charts ever since. The DJ’s are all a buzz about the hot remixes included on the maxi-single and this is evident in their chart listings in all the major cities. “Como Puedo” is currently charting in the Top 20 on the Latin Radio and Record Charts. With remixes by DJ Cubanito, Monster Taxi and a version featuring Reggaeton Superstar “Platano”, there is no doubt that the single will keep on climbing. Internationally, the single “Como Puedo” has been charting in the Top 20 on the European Dance charts and is currently playing in heavy rotation in the hottest nightclubs in the United States and Europe.In early 2006 Sony Music Latino released Shelina’s composition "Pruebame" on the album entitled "Crossover" featuring Shelina and rappers Black Joe and Chelin. The CD is a Sony Music Reggaeton compilation which is what made the recording industry stand up and take notice of Shelina.To tell you who Shelina is, you must first know where she came from.This Dominican born Singer, Songwriter and Choreographer, started singing with Belkys Concepcion y las Chicas( founder of las Chicas del Can) to worldwide acclaim at a very early age. She was also a member of Chabelly, Angela y Su Fuerza Femenina. While in her teens Shelina enrolled in the prestigious School of Bellas Artes y El Conservatorio Nacional de Musica where she studied dance and voice. Shelina went on to perform with the Bavaro Touring Resort in Argentina, and Chile, and also has performed with artist like: Wilfredo Vargas, Jonny Ventura and Fernando Villalona. Shelina has traveled the world over electrifying audiences in the American and Latin Market. Recently, Shelina was invited to perform as a special guest star representing Miami at the Billboard Dance Music Summit in Las Vegas in September 2006. Shelina’s infectious energy and sheer vocal talent are a few of the many qualities that keep audiences singing her praises. Esta importante produccion incluye el nuevo sencillo “Como Puedo”, escrito por la aclamada compositora del sur de la Florida Jessica Alvarez. “Como Puedo” salio en los Estados Unidos en la mitad de Septiembre y ha subido en los charts de la musica gracias a los DJ’s en las ciudades principales. Durante su adolesencia a Shelina estudio en el prestigioso Colegio de Bellas Artes y El Conservatorio Nacional de Musica donde estudio baile y canto. Shelina participo con la compania Bavaro Touring Resort en Argentina y Chile. Ella tambien ha participado con artistas como: Wilfredo Vargas, Johny Ventura y Fernando Villalona. Shelina ha viajado el mundo entero impresionando a todo tipo de publico con su energia electrica tanto en como el mercado Americano como el Latino. Recientemente Shelina fue invitada para tocar como estrella especial, representando a Miami en el Billboard Dance Music Summit en Las Vegas en Septiembre 2006. La energia contagiosa de Shelina y el talento de su voz poderosa son unas de las pocas qualidades que atraen a su publico.
