About Me

Okay what could anyone possibly care to know about me. I wish I was European but I'm not. Actually, I really only wish for the accent. My parents are some of my best friends, and although my childhood wasn't the most glamorous I'm old enough to know that my parents were, and are, human and forgive them for anything I could probably swear they screwed me up by doing. I am in a wonderful relationship with the best person for me. I'm forever in search of "the degree" it's slow but not on my dime and that's pretty awesome.
Now what I really like to do: rant, write, read, smoke (I should quit but), daydream, and get carried away.
And now for something completely different...
Your Hair Should Be Pink
Hyper, insane, and a boatload of fun.
You're a traveling party that everyone loves to follow. What's Your Funky Inner Hair Color?
And to think you thought I was cuddly...
According to experts, my personality type is :
Assasin for hire

Other people like me display these traits.

  • They have been abducted by aliens
  • They drive a honda
  • They have 6 fingers on each hand
  • They eat snails

    My Interests

Everything I can soak up. I'll do almost anything once. Balloon Animals. Guitar. Journals, oh the mass piles of journals. Talking. Seriously I love to talk. I love to converse with people that are smarter than me over coffee and feel like I'm coming up with grand revelations about the world.

    Cute Bunnies:

    Hello Kitty:

    FRIDGE MAGNETS... This is AWESOME.

    I'd like to meet:

Ok, I promised to change this and I am. First I'd like to meet Arundhati Roy and ask her why she insisted on putting freaking paranthetical references after every other freaking sentence in The God of Small Things then I'd slap her. Secondly, I'd really like to meet Jeff Goldbloom, because his smile is dreamy. Okay, that, and he is pretty entertaining I heard him the other day on NPR.

I have a momentary non-sexual crush on Barack Obama so I think I'd like to talk to him.

    Music:

I don't pinhole my music tastes to genre. I pretty much like what I like. But to name just a slight few. Nuetral Milk Hotel, Prince, Bjork, The Duhks, Oooh ooh of course The Cure (my favorite), the Cocteau Twins, Madder Rose, India.Arie, Linda Perry, The Clash, The Violent Femmes, Dido, Anything on Matador Records, Flaming Lips, Sebadoah, Folk Implosion, The Zombies, The Cars, Seal, Soundtrack to Better Days (I'm their groupie), The Pixies, Clutch, Tom Petty, Morcheeba, Fleetwood Mac, The Comic Book Kids, THE PIXIES, G-Love and the Special Sauce, The Gorillaz, Refused, John Lennon, Ben Folds Five, Queens of the Stone Age, T-Monk, John Coltrane, Sarah Vaughn, Sarah McLachlan, Morphine, Sade, Bloom., Weezer (duh who isn't?),The Spinanes, and seriously this is just getting ridiculous...

    Movies:

I just watched Iron Giant and totally cried like a baby. My favorite movie is Immortal Beloved. I typically don't care for musicals but I like Grease and Dancer in the Dark. Brendan had me watch Vanilla Sky and that was a trip. I like anything foreign or period. I'm cool with subtitles. Princess Mononoke. Anything by Jim Jarmusch. Sean of the Dead and usually anything British in that fashion (not zombie necessarily but witty). Dead Alive-Best Silly Gore movie ever (Peter Jackson pre Lord of the Rings). I love fantasy such as Legend or Labyrinth. Ooh Ooh, almost forgot David Lynch films.

    Television:

I've just recently started taking to television and I'm not necessarily proud. The three shows I've got to see are My Name is Earl, The Office, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

    Books:

Sheiza, I just wrote like a million things and didn't save it so I'm just gonna slam some authors down here. Gaiman, Gibran, Douglas Adams, anything by a Dead Russian, Murikami, Camus (that's right I said it), pretty much anything I can get my wittle hands on. Currently reading -- One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Don Delillo's Americana, and Kafka On the Shore.

    Heroes:

    Like duh, my dad.
