About Me

I love to make music. I love the hard work of creating something new and unique--hammering it out like a piece of sculpture until it is just right. I also love spontaneous creation where no thought goes into it ahead of time. Just pick up the instrument and empty the mind. That can take me to places I didn't know I could go.

I hear music everywhere: the clang of a pan full of water, the purr of my cats, the grinding of metal against metal, fingernails on a chalkboard(never bothered me), the hum of the refrigerator, the silence when traffic seems to stop for a brief moment in the middle of the city on a bright busy day, the soft breath of my love, Marnie.
