I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

After years of dead end mischief and mayhem I am finally settled with my life.Real friends that countFamily who love and support me.Children to love and adore.A partner who makes waking up every day a pleasure.A band who kick serious ASS.My love of music comes from the first time i opened KISS ALIVE 2, and nearly fainted. Up until that point i can remember ELVIS (who is the king) and not much else. A family friend back in 77 had ALIVE 2 on vinyl and showed it to me, it was a life changing moment, i knew what i wanted to be, i wasnt sure how to get there but i knew it involved make up and explosions...................LOL. I can remember as a young teen listening to Rick James, Bootsy Collins and Stanley Clarke. All of which are the masters of FUNK Bass. These guys rule......The love of all things funky led me to DAN REED NETWORK..these guys changed my life and continue to do so....beautiful lyrics to classics like stronger than steel, salt of joy still ring out with an air of freshness...peace to you Dan.I have been a Pro Bassist for many years now, and always looking for new exciting ventures. I was the founder of the uks biggest BON JOVI trib BI.JOVI. This was a key that opened many different doors. It gave me an insight into the back stabbing pennyless world of showbizz and enabled me and the guys to play at some of the greatest rock clubs around europe.I have the most rewarding job and work alongside some very special children. I teach music and performing arts at one of the uks leading special schools and i enjoy everyday i work........well most days.I am one of the Millions of musos who has worked alongside Mr Steve Johnson of THIN LIZZY fame amongst many others. I played Bass guitar for Sensai Johnson and dispite previous quibbles acknowledge him as my mentor, teacher and all round pain in the arse. Steve was one of the musicians around at the time when young whipper snappers like me were learning a musical trade. Alongside others like UNITED NATIONS, DAVE DAY, TIM BEDSON, ANDY TREVELYAN, BELLOBAN, MICKY GIBSON, JOHNNY CARROL etc etc. These guys were awesome. I used to stand with my jaw on the floor watching these guys perform and hoping one day that i would be as good.Time spent rehearsing and rehearsing was the key to working with most of my early heroes...and of course their ability to recognize talent....hee hee.I tip my hat to you.....respect.xI am currently the Singer and Bass player for GIANTZ. A stadium rock tribute playing shows locally to small audiences....the audiences are only small because we have so much gear and theres no friggin room once all the backline is in...hee heeI have spent the past few years in a place i didnt want to be in...mentally i mean.I have been an idiot and lost some close friends, family and loved ones. However I now belive in Karma and i intend to put some wrongs right......My name is earl....er no its not....but its that kind of thing.D.x
