Tyrants of Steel was formed in the Fall of 2006 when guitarist Jayden Alexander, drummer Dee Everette and frontman Cain Savage got together and started writing songs and making music. Co - guitarist Scotti Nyradin, who Dee and Jayden previously worked with in a band called Dark Horizon, would later join up with the band, adding more fuel to the Heavy Metal fire. The four all shared the same dreams and goals, all having the same love for vintage, European style metal. "Keeping the METAL Alive" was the bands mission, creating a song bearing that title, paying homage to Heavy Metal greats such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Iced Earth, Lizzy Borden, and so on. At the same time this song let the fans know that they ARE doing just that, KEEPING THE METAL ALIVE. With shredding guitar solo's, pounding drum solo's a frontman throwing himself against the wall, lifting guitarist's over his shoulders and even drowning the drummer with pitchers of water,and vocals blowing countless P.A. systems, T.O.S. never fails to give the fans a show to remember. With an ever growing fan base multiplying with each show, the band has taken Shreveport by storm delivering high powered, energy driven performances, proving that the Tyrants of Steel are a forced to be reckoned with.
