Black Sin was formed in 2004 by Berith as a one man band and released its first demo in 2006: "Unholy demo" with Wald on drums.
After Wald had decided to leave the band in 2008, the demo "Light of despair" is recorded at the end of the year.
Shortly after, Ewiger Hass joined the band as lead guitar and was quickly joined by Old on bass in 2009.
The album is recorded with Brumen on drums before he left the band.
With Necropervertor on drums and "." on rhythm guitar, Black Sin has now a stable lineup.
