About Me

My name is Scott, I was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta, and have lived in Texas also. I have spent most of my years living in Tennessee. I attended High School in Huntsville, Texas. I also love the State of Louisiana and lived in Baton Rouge for awhile. I am a funeral director and embalmer. I have been in Louisiana, and was there before, and when Hurricanes Katrina and Rita hit. I had been there to care for my sister "Honey" who had cancer, she passed away Oct. 1st 2005, I took a few days off and then returned to Louisiana. I miss my sister dearly, and support research for breast cancer as thats what she died from. I have just returned to Tennessee from Louisiana where I have been involved and working in the recovery process after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita as a volunteer. One of our biggest missions, was to track and locate family members that were displaced and reported as missing, so that we could reunite them back with their families and loved ones. This was a rewarding task to reunite families that were torn apart by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. I have spent alot of time there as a volunteer, also helping on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and in New Orleans. I worked with the Mortuary Teams for most of my time there in Louisiana. I continue to assist in the relief efforts when i can, taking supplies to Mississippi and Louisiana. I am also a Veteran of The US Army. I have three children, two twin boys that are 22, one is in the Army and the other is planning on joining the Army also. Then I have a daughter that is 26, she is a Nurse Anesthetist and married with two daughters of her own, one that's 5 years old, and a new baby girl born Feb. 27th 2008. So all my kids are grown :) I like the outdoors, wildlife and meeting interesting people. I like to shop too lol. I spend alot of time alone but always seem to have a good time. I am enjoying life and I try to make each day better than the one before. that doesn't always happen, but I try. :) I am an animal lover, I like dogs and cats, "BUT" my weakness is for the Wolves, I had some as pets in the past years but not at this time. If I were to be an animal I'd want to be a wolf Hahaha!
