About Me

What mad Nijinsky wrote about Diaghilev
Is true of the normal heart;
For the error bred in the bone
Of each woman and each man
Craves what it cannot have,
Not universal love
But to be loved alone.
"I take a scar every time I cry, because that's not my style, no ... that's not my style"

My name is andre, i spell it with a lowercase a. I am 27 and I live in Ventura, California. I have few friends but that matches up with the fact I have little time. Matter a fact, my lack of time is a direct result of my lack of friends.
I love my State more than I love my country, my first allegiance is to the great State of California, and my second is to the United States of America. I believe this is always how it should be. Many people believe this is backwards, but it is actually more like it was during the early years of our nation. People in the 1700s and 1800s called themselves New Yorkians and Philapedians, not "Americans". I am a Californian before I am a USAian (Because American denotes both south and north and North American denotes the US, Mexico and Cananda, so lets call it USAian. I started this after I met some friends in Mexico and they were offended by my use of "American" as to include me and exclude them)
For a nine years I was a Professional Wrestler, and now I attend law school in Ventura at the Southern California Institute of Law.
I hate reading, but there is so much that I want to read. I am not an intellectual; however, I am opinionated and loudly outspoken. I do not think I am dumb by any means, I read and take great efforts to stay educated and informed.
I oppose killing of every kind. I can't stand people that advocate against abortion and yet supports the death penalty. Government sanctioned killing is of the worst kind. The late and great California Congressman and Mayor of San Fransisco George Moscone won my heart by unequivocally opposing the death penalty, as he is the first major California politician that I know that did so.
I believe in ONE STANDARD OF JUSTICE; everyone should have equal rights under the law. I have little tolerance personally for anyone who opposes this view, I do not see how we are still debating this. However, my lack of tolerance is that on a personal level; I would never invite into my house, or make a place for anyone in my heart if they could find it in themselves to hate someone, not for who but what they are. That includes prejudgment on the base of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, and so forth.
I believe of all the unalienable rights gifted to us by the founders of our great nation, the greatest of all is that of free speech. While I strongly oppose hate and reject it in my life, I support the right to hate and speak hate. This right is limited to having personally held beliefs and the right to teach and preach such beliefs from a distance that doesn't personally disturb the freedom of those it is directed at. This is because we can not, in any way, limit the free exchange of ideas. There will always be people who lack intelligence and enlightenment - but in the words of Voltaire, "I don't believe a word you say, but I would fight to my death your right to say it."
