Why did it seem so difficult to realize the simple truth? The revolution begins and ends with you.

About Me

Finally at a stage in my life to where I know who I am, what I want, what works, and what doesn't. I'm comfortable in my own skin, artistic, resilient, decidedly unpretentious and down to earth, exceptionally strong yet retain my femininity, intellectual but will turn into a pile of goo at the mere mention of my favorite cartoon or a kitten. Determinedly optimistic and constantly trying to make myself a better person and trying to fulfill my neverending desire to know as much as I can about everything. Fiercely loyal, slightly neurotic while being laid back, bitchy while being thoughtful and sweet, compassionate, and witty/goofy. Extremely lucky to have the friends that I do. Sometimes I think I must be doing something right to have their love and support. That's about it for now, I guess.

Found this quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson that I found highly appropriate considering my life at the moment:

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense."

My Interests

Music, Singing, Dancing, Making sounds, Sewing, Crafty things, anime, Psychology, spirituality, cooking, yoga, traveling, reading, fashion, spending half of my time taking myself entirely too seriously and the other half taking absolutely nothing seriously and being exceptionally goofy

I'd like to meet:

I seek creative, open minded, intelligent, witty, fascinating people. Anyone who can make me laugh is a definite plus. Also anyone who sees the world differently from me, and who can open my eyes to see the world from a fresh, interesting perspective. I also seek someone to babble away to about shared interests.
But for Christ's sake, if you can't spell common words, have any sort of picture of you smoking up or a picture to indicate such, or better yet have a picture of you smoking up next to a picture of your kid, then please PLEASE save us both the trouble and don't message me. That is of course unless you want to provide amusing fodder for me to discuss with friends. Then by ALL means, flood my inbox with your descriptions of exactly what you'd like to do to me in your trailer in Dundalk.
And finally this should go without saying, but if I do not know you and you would like to add me as a friend, please send an email introducing yourself first. I *love* meeting new people, but I have absolutely no desire to add another "myspace friend" to my list if they haven't made even the smallest effort to talk to me.
