About Me

Sparks and Slyder - The Story so Far by T.V's Antony McFartland and Declan McDangleberry............................................... ......................... Though not related, Marshall Sparks and Roland Slyder were both spawned from a bacteria living on a jaffa cake that was carelessly placed on a plate of pickles after a 'full on' tupperware party in the 1970's. Shunned by society, homeless and destitute, they were adopted by The Crankies who raised them lovingly on a diet of virgin mermaids milk and Dairylea Triangles. Though they had a tough start to life, their creative abilities soon came to the fore with their first written publication..''Porridge, why?'' (critically acclaimed at the 1986 European Breakfast and Elevenses Awards as an 'average' read). After this success, they produced their seminal work ''Blu Tac, the 8th Wonder of the World'' (available in most good imaginations). Tragically, whilst researching for their unfinished journal ''Leaf Collecting for the Blind'', they fell into a vat of tobacco plants at a cigarette factory in Clacton. As fate would have it, they were smoked and exhaled into the thick ether of Brixton Academy on the 23rd October 1992, where they discovered The Orb, DJ Lewis and the meaning of life. Nowadays Roland makes a living as Personal Cheese Advisor for Terry Nutkins, whilst Marshall works as a freelance geometrist for Bruce Forsyth's 'Chin Management Team'. As Sparks and Slyder, they make whatever music their mood takes at the time....normally something to dance to with a pleasing listening quality to it. Thanks for reading this far btw ;)
