Jaime Doom

Jaime Doom, one sixth of The Banggang sextet, plays whack sets of no wave house, rock n rave, goth opera and noisepop. He likes fun music that people can get nude and rub each other to. Although kinda new on the Dj scene he has played most big festivals (Field Day, Good Vibrations, Parklife, V Festival, We Love, Future Music Festival), supported some big shots (Tiga, Soulwax, Mylo, Wolfmother) and has played records at pretty much every club in oz either on his lonesome, with his partner in crime Gus Da Hoodrat or with the rest of The BangGang Djs. Apart from Djing he puts on BangGang parties in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, makes mix cds, runs their record label, BangGang 12inches, occasionally puts together their fanzine, writes their blog (oioioi), plays on his computer a lot and contemplates how to take over the world.

The AudiophileZ

Since they combined three years ago, the Audiophilez have been on a mission. Their aims; to discover the sounds no one had before, to push their music as far as it will go, to make each performance fresher and more exciting than the last. Rocking shows all over Sydney to hectic dance floors are the proof that the two boys from the Northern Beaches have got what it takes to hit the big time. Both successful DJ’s over the last decade, Sam as DJ E-Mass and Evan as DJ Wax Ninja played the Sydney party circuit under their own guises, winning several DJ Competitions along the way. 2004 saw a lethal combination come to fruition. The Audiophilez was born! From their debut at Australia’s Blowpop parties, to the crazy multi-deck sets at Parliament, to their latest floor filling performance at Break Inn they have rocked the foundations alongside Australia’s ultimate Nu-Skool breaks artists such as Bass Kleph, Dopamine, & Klaus Heavyweight Hill. For Sam & Evan 2007 is all about releasing their original material and breeching the international circuit. Judging from their performances and new material on www.myspace.com/audiophilez this dream is about to become a reality, and the Audiophilez are about to go global!

Parliament faithfuls saw something special in 2006 as Allan Marshall combined with Auxilary(Shopliftaz) on stage to create multi deck Tech, Breaks and booty mashups which left dance floors begging for more, Culminating in a tour over christmas to NSW's north coast. 2007 has taken Allan to new heights with regular bookings at some of Sydney's top clubs including, The Cross, Candy's, Havanna, Mylk and regular gigs along the NSW North Coast.
