Camel Metal Up Your Ass!

About Me

Bio:
It all started in autumn 2004 in a local youth center in Dom--ale when the drummer and both of the guitar players met. At first we were playing cover songs from metal legends like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest, ... Soon after that we got a singer and a bass player and so there were we as a 5 member group and gave ourself the name Gonoba (old Slovanic term for doom and destruction). This line-up lasted for about two and a half years and we had done two concerts but we still played mostly cover songs. After two and a half years the vocalist and the bass player decided to leave the band, leaving the original three members alone again. We formed a new line-up which took a while as we were still looking for a style of metal we could call our own. After three more failed tries with new line-ups, we got lucky as we met Branimir (Bass) who opend our horizonts in metal music because he had more experience with music and more experinece as a musician. He intruduced us to a new style he was most fond of - Thrash/Death Metal! A few months later Hopsy (Vocals) joined the band and so Gonoba got a new meaning and in the begining of the year 2006 we started a whole new chapter in our band. We are now in full line-up and ready for more concerts in the future so we can leave our mark on the Slovenian and hopefuly someday also foreign metal sceen.
