About Me

I've done a U-Turn in just about every state.

My Interests

Hypnotic infomercials. Dominoes. Getting all riled up over conservative talk radio.

I'd like to meet:

A dry humored individual who can channel the pale sensuality of Cate Blanchet, spike it with the low-key brilliance of Salam Rushdie, and the political hutzpa of Arianna Huffington. Or anyone who despises the Indigo Girls, but adores GoodFellas.

Music:

The Clash. Joy Division. Kings of Leon. The Animals. S-K. Journey (but just the cool stuff).

Movies:

Rear Window. Blow-Up. A Room With A View. Pulp Fiction. Annie Hall. 24 Hour Party People. CQ.

Television:

The Office. Lost. Mad Men. Heroes (even though it's TOTALLY sucking this season). How I Meet Your Mother. And, honestly, I still like to watch SNL - obviously the Digital Shorts are funny -- but Amy Poeler rocks and that Payton Manning United Way spoof from last season was hilarious.

Books:

I like the idea of reading, but as it turns out, not the actuality.

Heroes:

Tobi. Because sometimes it's hard for other to hear what she has to say, but she always says it. And that's heroic.

They Mysterious Rolls of Film Revealed!

I got the film back! First off, the B&W roll was blank. Very disapointing. But the other two had some unexpected gems! The first roll I looked at was from Pete and my Greenwood Lawn &Tennis (the c...

Three years is long enough!

I've had these three rolls for film sitting around my place for years.  One color, one B&W, and one disposable camera that I think I picked-up in New Orleans (March 2004).  I got a digit...

Why does everyone keep putting bacon on my cheeseburger?

Twice this week I ordered cheeseburgers.  And both times they came with bacon - without me ordering it!  What the fuck?  All I want is a cheeseburger sans condiments.  I'm not a fa...

So, it turns out that the reason I'm so tired and out of it all time is from dehydration.  I had my blood pressure checked three or four times this morning... as that's how the doctor finds out i...
