COREPEPS stand for 'Core Peoples' or 'Manusia-manusia kental' in Malay.A groups/collective of local 'indie' musician and artist. Who are truthfully, deep passion and transparent philosophy for arts. Share the same interest, same dreams and ideology and of course- enjoying artlife.Since the middle of 2004, Corepeps were set up to be one of a few struggling 'Art Activist Community' by Arul, as the founder and the Editor of 'Corepeps artzine'. And now, COREPEPS are propelled by a combination of 4 region. Arul (KL/S'ban-Centre) as the mastermind/designer. Azmal (JB/KL-South) as the art director/designer. Erwan (Ipoh/Penang-North) as a graphic designer. Takara (Kelantan/Melaka-east) as an art designer. From Architecture to comics, from music to free art, from 'suka-suka lifestyle' to a culture, we celebrate our breath by exploring a new wave of ideas, as we call it "A Deformation of Art" (Art-De'Form) and hopefully can share it all together around the world. COREPEPS, a space for us to develope and do an expriment with a nice beautiful things, produce various art stuff.. and trying to bring a good massage in all of our artworks. Yups, we are still keep on seeking other young and talented, creative and energetic to be recruit as Corepeps Chronicles to inherit and carry the flag 'believe in art' an aims which is to distribute our idea for future generation.-All our friends who are an artlover chronicles, this is a humble dedication to you guys.. so, enjoy peeps! thanks for ur time.MUKHADIMAH.. Corepeps adalah ‘Core Peoples’, kumpulan insan-insan yg kental pada prinsip hidupnya yg penuh dengan nilai estatika kesenian terindah. Ketulusan berkarya dengan imaginasi yg total bebas dan tidak terlalu kritikal rombakannya lalu didambakan dengan sentuhan deformasi otak kiri. Giat dalam merilis makalah d.i.y. yg turut digelar ‘Corepeps’ artzine. Cuba turut serta dalam perjuangan rakan-rakan Sang Pecinta Seni (artlover activists) seluruh kota-kota gagasan seantero Malaya. Kini, kami berusaha untuk lebih pro-aktif dalam merealisasikan omongan untuk terus cekal beraksi dipersada seni bawah tanah.Dilahirkan sedikit songsang sejak 19/01/00, dan sekarang tahun 2007, adalah detik mulanya bagi kami mengorak langkah lebih jauh terus kehadapan... insya'Allah.
