In Bed at the Bunker

Come and laugh at people In Bed. Legitimately.

About Me

In Bed at the Bunker: I am one of the only physical comedy rooms who has the skill to be able to write my own MySpace profile. I'm also the youngest being, at the time of my writing this, not even a year old! Which I think is pretty impressive since you could almost say I have the vocabulary of a 24 year old. Anyway I suppose you would like to know a bit about me. The people who run me are two lovely girls called Ally and Dani (I'll let them say a litle bit later on). I run every second Tuesday from 8pm (my first night will be on the 12th of June 2007, and i'm very excited about it), my location is The Bunker Lounge which is at 407 Swanston St, a three min walk from Melbourne Central. Ally and Dani have told me they have big plans for me but they will only work if you are there!
Dani: Hi! How are you? Great I hope! I'll let you know a bit about me: I first started getting really interested in comedy when a science teacher in grade 11 introduced me to the Doug Anthony All Stars and I pretty much haven't looked back since. I don't do stand up myself (that's Ally's job), but I know a lot about how to enjoy it and to quote a friend of mine I've had a 'healthy interest in the finanicial well being of comedians' for a while now (translation: I see as much comedy as I can). So I make sure the audience are having a good time and Ally takes care of the comedians. Between the two of us a good time is guaranteed by everyone!
Ally: HOWDY!!! I'm Ally. Alison to people from highschool, Mobydick to those bully's from primary school, and Ally-Syn, when I'm on stage. I've been into comedy since I was a little one. Always wanting to watch the comedy festival Gala on T.V, but generally missing out because my mum wanted to watch Better Homes and Gardens. Possibly the reason I dislike that show. I attended my first comedy festival 3 or 4 years ago after watching the Gala, and realising that there was a comedy festival! First show, and love...TRIPOD! I became obsessed with comedy, with only two choices to do with my life, 1. Quit Cold Turkey 2. Become a comedian myself. Obviously I'd be going brilliantly at uni right now if I had of quit, and thus...I am a comic.

My Interests

In Bed at the Bunker: Generally, I'm interested in meeting you!

Dani: Risus, musica atque unus bonus libri! Music, laughter and a good book. And writing in bad Latin.

Ally: Pretending she can read Dani's bad Latin. Comedy...um... so there's not a lot that interests me.
