I adopted a love for Nelson Eddy and Jeneatte MacDonald when I was in Diapers. My mon went to great lenghts to provide all of us twelve children with old movies from Greer Garson to Tyrone Power and so on. So I have a deep likeness for old classics. However Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Edy remain to be a family favorite a prized jewel if you will. As far as i'm concerned they are the best. But enough about me lets hear about them.Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy were "America's Singing Sweethearts" of the 1930s. They starred in MGM blockbuster musicals like Naughty Marietta, Rose Marie and Maytime, in live opera, on radio and in early television... And yes, Virginia, they did have a romance off-screen but because of circumstances and Louis B. Mayer they never married each other. The Mac/Eddy Club is the first to honor both Jeanette and Nelson and this page was the very first web site for them!
