Who is Ann Oyama?

Combination martial artist, engineer, computer expert, linguist, artist, writer, poet, philosopher, explorer, adventurer, action hero, anime/manga and video game junkie turned rock star...

Ann Oyama spent her formative years running wild on a tropical island in Hawaii. She abandoned paradise at the tender age of 18, moving to Massachusetts to attend college at MIT where she obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. After a short stint at a cushy software engineering job she decided that life was too short to spend in front of the computer, thus in the span of three days packed up all her stuff, threw it in the attic, subletted out her apartment, bought a ticket to Shanghai, China, and fled the country -- just like that.

Ann reserved the subsequent year to perfect her craft (i.e. learn Chinese) and crash motorcycles in the foreign lands of China and Taiwan. At the same time she started to seriously think about her future and consider her greatest goals in life. It all boiled down to the ultimate question: How could Ann Oyama use her super powers to save the world? Suddenly, the answer was clear. The answer was MUSIC!

As Happy As Happy Can Be!
