Me. Attending shows. Reviewing music. Interviewing bands. Making fun of Hippies. Having fun with Hippies. Whiskey and coke. Whiskey and whiskey. Porn. Music. Music. Music. Encouraging insanity and genius within myself and my writers... they're two halves of the same coin.
On a personal level I am not certain that I really want to meet more people; after years of dedication I have cultivated the growth of an excellent menagerie in the cellar. If I did meet more people I would prefer them to be: in good bands, venue owners, poli-dissonants of all shapes and sizes, artsy-fartsy fuckheads, art terrorists, and to be entertaining. Boring people multiply too quickly and the bodies are really starting to stack up around here.
Anyone have access to a deep, unused well?
My range runs from Rachmaninoff to Daath. Everything sits well with my ear, provided it's written with heart. The gulf that exists between entertainment and MUSIC becomes more apparent as I age, and I find myself reverting more and more to classic forms of music, rather than being seduced by whatever flash in the pan comes along. If you really care, ask me. Music is the only thing I really like to talk about with random people.
Who has time?
I know of them, but do not partake.
I read constantly in no set or regular genre.
Hunter S. Thompson. Patrick Bateman. Me.
